A building full of lightly used clothing and household items your neighbors didn’t need anymore were distributed for reuse - For Free!

The First Full Batery Electric Vehicle purchased by Columbia County was on display.

Can we use renewable energy? Visitors learned how it works on the local level…and also how to weatherize their homes, and how to heat with fewer—or zero!—fossil fuels and less money.

Multiple Tasty food trucks!
The Valatie CSC Task Force prepared seed paper for visitors to make note cards. Wildflower seeds were donated by Helia Native Nursery in Alford, MA.

Many local organizations that are taking Climate Action in our communities, including local businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and town Climate Smart Committees.
The Climate Carnival is free to vendors and free to visitors. In order to keep it free, we are accepting donations to offset our costs.

The Columbia County Fairgrounds has a strict no-dogs policy.
We understand some visitors were disappointed by this policy, but we could not allow dogs
or other pets, leashed or otherwise, on the fairground property during the event.
