PE04.04: Heat Pumps
Points for this CSC action are available for installing heat pumps at new or existing facilities owned by the local government.
The Sheriff's Office and Administration area at the Columbia County Public Safety building was upgraded with new air-source heat pumps in 2020. The Solid Waste Administration Building on Newman Road in Greenport is heated and cooled with heat pumps. The Task Force has also completed a “Heating and Cooling Demo” at the Solid Waste Administration Building by displaying a poster and handouts there. New air-source heat pumps are currently being installed at the County Courthouse in Hudson.
