Organizing and holding a green vendor fair provides an opportunity for local eco-friendly businesses and organizations to market themselves to the community, network with each other, and educate the community about green products and the services they provide.
Columbia County's Green Vendor Fair is our Climate Carnival, first held in July 2022, and planned again for Sept 14, 2024.
Columbia County Climate Carnival will be back in 2024!
On July 16, 2022, the Task Force hosted our first Columbia County Climate Carnival. Over 50 vendors, environmental groups, musicians, and food trucks participated. Both display space and viewer entry was free of charge. Participants included a Repair Cafe, Free Store, Bike Repair, and Composting Demonstrations. All local Climate Smart Task Forces were represented
The next Climate Carnival is scheduled for September 14, 2024.
